We are the Victor Harbor Christian Bookshop, also know as the Christian Friendship Centre. We have been around since 1972, and were originally established by a group of volunteers from local churches.
The original purpose of the shop was as a drop in centre for young people, but today we are a well established Christian bookshop and cafe. Our organisation is not-for-profit, and is staffed by generous volunteers who come from a wide variety of church denominations within our community. All our profits go to local missions and community groups, including financial support to local pastoral care workers (school chaplains) within our schools.
We have been able to donate over $500 000 in financial support to local and international missions throughout our existence.
